  Thankyou Wendy-Jane for the extremely warm friendly service during our most enjoyable stay at your pet friendly Vineyard Motel. The Vineyard Motel provided fantastic accommodation for my husband and I as well as our fur family (Scout, Cricket and Hank, our much loved dogs) on our recent trip to NSW. A spacious room, sparkling clean bathroom and very well supplied kitchenette meant a comfortable, stress-free stay for us all. The private vineyard surrounds are a lovely setting and add to the relaxed atmosphere at this motel.

  I gave this place an "excellent" rating on Trip Advisor and told the owner as I was leaving. The room was nice but I'm changing my review after receiving a narky email from the owner. I had had 2 dogs with me, travelling from Brisbane to Canberra. I read all the very many rules posted around the room and abided by them. The dogs slept on the floor, on their blankie, not on the bed. I even put their water dish in the shower so there wouldn't be drips on the floor (not a rule just me being considerate). As ordered, I didn't put my recycleables in the bin but left them out separately. There was a big storm that night and at 4 am after the storm I took the dogs out for a wee wee. Their paws got wet and a bit dirty so I put them in the car rather than have them leave marks on the floor. It would have been easy to clean up after me as I didn't even make a coffee. I even phoned up later that day to explain that I didn't steal the batteries from the tv remote, but had to cannibalise the air con remote for batteries to use the otherwise dead tv remote. How much more considerate could I have been!? The next day I received a narky email from the owner that she'd found dog hairs in the bed when she stripped it. Now as any dog owner would know, socks pick up dog hairs. That's the only reason I can think why she would have found dog hairs IN the bed. And in the same email she asked for more reviews. So here it is.
